Touring Society GT/32 low-profile form

Low-profile format

A lower, wider silhouette designed to feel more natural in a boot than a conventional tall duffel.

The concept starts from the geometry of the boot and the way people really pack for a weekend drive. The current target is approximately 52 × 28 × 22 cm, around 32 litres.

  • Reduced height for shallow luggage spaces and parcel shelves.
  • Proportions intended to let two matching bags sit side-by-side in many cars.
  • Soft construction so the bag can adapt slightly to irregular spaces.
  • Flat handles and removable shoulder strap to reduce clutter during loading.
Final dimensions will only be confirmed after real fit testing.

Car-considered surfaces

Premium materials and restrained hardware designed with paint, leather and trim in mind.

GT/32 is intended to avoid the exposed hard feet, clips and unnecessary metal often found on generic travel bags.

  • Textured technical exterior with water-resistant intent.
  • Recessed or softer contact areas near the base.
  • Hardware positioned away from likely contact points.
  • Removable strap to minimise dangling parts while loading.
  • Quiet Touring Society / GT/32 branding rather than oversized logos.
Materials and abrasion resistance will be validated on real samples.

Weekend capacity

An interior conceived around a genuine 2–3 night trip, not simply a litre figure.

The 32L target aims to cover a long weekend for one person without turning the exterior into a bulky gym bag.

  • Main space for trousers, knitwear, shirts and essentials.
  • Separate shoe / clean-dirty zone.
  • Removable tech pouch for cables and small valuables.
  • Removable wash pouch for toiletries.
  • Wide opening so the bag behaves like compact luggage when packing.
Waitlist feedback will influence the final internal configuration.
